Hi, I'm looking for recommendations (or warnings on ones to NOT use) on wedding photographers in Anchorage. I was going to use Alaska Photography & Design but looks like due to the photographer having a baby and other reasons, I couldn't know til Feb/March if I can book them... Wedding is in June and I want to book ASAP! thanks!!

You should check out Erica Rose...she's an experienced photographer but new to Anchorage so she's offering some great deals. I just booked her for my July wedding and her work is so beautiful!

I have to second Chugach, one of my friends is a photographer with them and they are fabulous!! Sugar Six does good work but it seems like she is pretty heavy with the PhotoShop.

I'm using LRK studios. Weddings aren't her forte per se, but she is working with us as we are on a MAJOR budget. She has done weddings though, and she does awesome work. I love her!

Chugach Peaks is out of our price range. But they are amazing.

Wayde Carroll Photography also does good work, I was going to go with him because he gives you ALL DAY coverage plus a lot of prints and 2 discs with images for 2K flat fee. It's a good deal and he does good work.
